about

Uplifting & inspiring music by Sarah Hopkins for choir, orchestra, didgeridoo, cello, choirchimes & the celestial sounding Harmonic Whirlies.

Performances of this music received standing ovations from the full house audiences !

Sarah writes :
"Compositionally I trust the power of the simple, direct & heartfelt; & am guided by my intuition. Often melodies literally 'sing through' me, which was the case in creating all the music on this CD. I call them 'soul songs'. They come to me spontaneously & embrace many cultural & world music influences including Celtic, African, Aboriginal, Polynesian, Middle Eastern & Carribean. They lyrics combine 'soul language' & English.
